Fourth and Last Full Day in London

After eating our usual chocolate morning croissant we made our way to the underground and took a ride to Tower of London to take in some of the long and brutal royal history from a yeoman warder.

Listening to her audio tour.

This is what she decided to be doing instead of listening to the yeoman warder

We then walked across Tower Bridge and viewed the London Bridge.

We went to eat lunch at Maltby Street Market but it's closed on weekdays. We found a bakery and got a baguette with pastries.

We also found two playgrounds along the way.

Haylee navigated us to Lloyds of London. Wyatt had a project in math class and created a replica of this building out of cardboard.

After reviewing the building we stumbled upon Diagon Alley aka Leadenhall Market and ate lunch.

Haylee found a park for us to go see, and led us to Leathermarket gardens.

We walked by St. Paul's cathedral.

As we walked on we got some bronze Knuts, silver Sickles, and gold galleons at Gringotts Wizarding Bank.

We finished the night back at the flat with pasties and ice cream.

Third Day in London

We started our day at the British Museum. We saw some chess sets, the Rosetta Stone, an astrolabe, birds, and two headed snakes.

Some of us enjoyed the British Museum more than others.

We then crossed the road and ate at the Museum Tavern.

After our yummy lunch we experienced a puppet show on a barge. We watched The Flight of Babushka Baboon at the Puppet Theater Barge in Little Venice. It was really quaint and beautiful.

We walked to a little playground nearby.

Off to Kings Cross Station we went. We didn't make it to Hogwarts but we tried. Garrett and Wyatt bought butter beer, a chocolate frog, exploding bonbons, peppermint toads, and fudge flies. Rylee also bought Harry Potter scar earrings.

We came back to the apartment to try some HP goodies and then we were off again.

Butterbeer

Horseferry playground near Westminster.

Keeping it real.

Afterwards we walked down Parliment Street. From a distance we saw Victoria Tower, Westminster Abbey, Parliament, and heard Big Ben.

After eating pizza for dinner we walked to Leicester Square where we sat with Mr. Bean and Paddington.

He really does love Paddington.
